Intertwining autonomy and control with purposeful living we are able to encourage elders to live life to the fullest. Control can be rhythms of the day such as waking, sleeping, meals and alone time. While Purposeful Living are opportunities for engagement both planned and spontaneous.
Empowered Staff
One fundamental belief is that care teams possess vital information about elders that only a close-relationship can foster. The model ensures elders and their care teams have a pivotal role in deciding how care is provided.
Real Home
Challenging previous beliefs the model emphasizes community spaces that are characterised by “warm, smart and green” elements. Incorporating nature, family style dining, and spaces that look and feel like home.
