The Homeplace at Midway offers elders and their families exceptional care complemented by a warm, welcoming cottage residence that feels and functions just like home. Meals are cooked here. People gather here. Life is lived here.
Each resident in a cottage enjoys his or her own private bedroom and bath. All other areas of the cottage, including the kitchen, living room with hearth, den and porch, are all shared. The design of the cottage is centered around an open, inviting kitchen and living area that encourage elders to come together and enjoy one another’s company at their leisure. In this space, elders enjoy homemade meals, spirted conversation, and entertaining activities.
Clinical and personal care services, such as physical therapy, whirlpool baths and hair care are provided in Hope House cottage. This design is intentional, meant to “deinstitutionalize” care, while still meeting rigorous standards of care. Elders are assessed before move-in to create a customized care plan. Our caregivers will get to know your loved one, their likes and dislikes, individual needs, and personal routines. Our approach to nursing care is very individualized so each resident receives the care and support needed to live comfortably.
